Joe Paulino - drummer, vocalist and Pro Tools miracle-worker
Joe Paulino

Joe Paulino is an actor, voice talent, musician and audio equipment junkie. He still plays the drum kit his parents got him back in 1968. He lives in Sausalito with his lovely wife Juline and their four delinquent felines.

Anne Nachtrieb Zesiger

Anne Nachtrieb Zesiger has enjoyed a wide-ranging career as a performer, writer and recording artist. She released her debut album, Anne Nachtrieb, in 1979 (produced by Jim Dean, with whom she has reunited to produce Aesop For All Ages) Since then, she has written and recorded enough original material for several albums, making frequent club appearances and developing into a compelling and mature artist. Zesiger composed the music for two NPR features, Global Check-in and Tech Nation. And in addition to dozens of sessions for independent recordings and commercials, she has sung the National Anthem at Candlestick Park. This past summer, Zesiger served as music director for Four Winds Camp in Puget Sound, WA.

Michael Woods busily applying "twang." (photo: Ellen Goldstein)
Michael Woods

Michael has not yet sent me his bio information, but I can tell you from many years of playing with him that he is truly talented. A gifted improvisor, he can shift styles at a moment's notice, and is equally at home with delicate jazzy passages, twangy C&W licks, or shredding rock solos, which he does to great effect while maintaining a reasonable volume. While rock's other great guitarists relied on massive Marshall Stack amplifiers, Michael's "Fender Champ Stack" rests comfortably on a coffee table, and won't disturb the neighbors, unless they're psychos.

John Gomes captured in an inspiring moment.
John Gomes

A fifth generation native of the Bay Area, John played bass guitar in several aspiring bands from the Pleasanton Valley area in the 80’s. Always a vocalist in these bands(lead or backup) John was often noticed for playing the entire neck of the bass. After moving to San Francisco in the late 80’s, he began to pick up acoustic guitar and then moved to electric guitar in the 90’s. In 2000, he was asked to sit in with the Neurohumors, an almost strictly improvisational psychedelic rock world beat band, and has been a staple there ever since. After helping on Dan Reich’s recent release as the bass player on roughly half of the CD and back-up vocalist, he has moved to helping Dan by taking on the dobro for Dan’s live performances.
