Dan's Song Is Included in International Political Songs Web Site

"Homeland Security" has been added to the political songs compiled by the Centre For Political Song in Glasgow, Scotland. Dan thus joins a growing list of artists willing to speak their minds for change.

(from their website)

"The Centre for Political Song exists to promote and foster an awareness of all forms of political song; an appreciation of the role of political song in the social, political and cultural life of communities; and to facilitate research in all relevant areas of study. The Centre itself will remain free from any political bias in its collecting and organisational policies."

The impromptu pairing took place when Anne was asked to do a concert as a solo artist, and invited Dan to join her. The unplugged, male-and-female energy seemed to please the audiences and the Bread & Roses volunteers. The combination of Dan and Anne, who is pretty and sings like an angel, invited immediate comparisons to Sonny & Cher.
